Request for Christmas 2009

I would like to start a new tradition with our grandchildren and when the great grandchildren come along!

For Christmas 2009, I would like a hand print on a plain white/off-white cotton square fabric (10 x 10 inches square). I need everyone's cooperation, so please pass the word on. It would be neat to receive these hand prints no later than October 2009, so that Grandma (that's me) can put a quilt together for you-know-who! Let me know what color(s) you will use for your hand print so that I can color coordinate the fabric between these hand print blocks. It doesn't matter if you are already graduated from high school or not living at home any more. I still want your hand print.

For Christmas 2010, I would like to start another tradition! That is, I want to start having a grandchildren tree for every year from now on. What this means is, that you can make Grandpa and Grandma Larsen an ornament to hang on this very special tree. Matthew made one for us this year! We will treasure it always! It was made out of beads and string.
