Labor Day Weekend was busy for the two of us. Friday morning, we weeded all around the yard. All day Saturday, we emptied out the closet under the stairs, and cleared away most of the furniture and stuff from the walls in the basement and the garage, and sprayed for bugs. Then, we did our Fall Cleaning throughout the whole house. In addition, we did inventory of our 72-hour kits, our non-food items for year, and our food storage for year. On Sunday, we went to all of our meetings, and visited Mom for an hour. On Monday, while hubby was completing a two-year old honey-dew project (sanding and painting a doorway), I bought tomatoes and canned 12 quarts to go into our year's supply of food storage. Busy -- Busy -- Busy, but Happy to get these things accomplished!
